Saliva Composition Study

Our pioneering specimen collection and preservation innovations are setting new standards of modernized care for patients, providers, and laboratories worldwide in the testing, managing, and treatment of disease.

This study is focused on the composition of saliva proteins, antibodies, and hormones. Blood (serology) is currently used as the gold standard for testing and our comparator in this study. Your participation will help drive the noninvasive progression of using saliva as a test specimen rather than blood.

Collected saliva and paired blood samples will be used in a clinical research project which targets relevant biomarkers including but not limited to hormones, inflammation, Celiac disease, Lyme disease, traumatic brain injury, cancer, and other diseases where biomarker detection and quantitation can be of clinical and therapeutic value.

We are looking for 300 qualified individuals that are 7 years or older to participate in this research study by donating their blood and saliva samples. Participants will submit 7 saliva samples (10 mL total) and up to 40mL (1.3 fl oz) of blood at a collection facility in Draper, Utah.
